‘The Mill’ is another favourite. The original hangs on my living room wall and always reminds of the soft, velvety evenings of childhood summer holidays. The mill itself is Jack - or possibly Jill - I never can remember which is which - that stands on the south downs. If you go to the spot from where this was painted you may notice there is no house - A small touch of artistic licence on my part. |
